Youth-led media production

Young creatives make the content. We produce podcasts, short videos, photo stories, campaign materials, documentaries and event coverage in our studio. The work brings young people's voices to a wider audience, records local stories and explains social issues in formats people share.

Production is also how Fankeenna earns. Partners and clients commission photography, video, design and campaign work. Every job pays young creatives and helps keep the space free.

What we produce

• Fankeenna Zine. A youth creative magazine for essays, photography, visual art, interviews, poetry, design and cultural criticism.
• Short videos and digital stories. Reels, interviews, behind-the-scenes, campaign clips and artist stories for social media.
• Creative campaigns. Public campaigns on shared social issues with simple language, strong visuals and community participation.
• Documentation. Photo and video records of exhibitions, screenings, workshops and youth stories, to preserve creative work and show impact.
• Shaah iyo Shaxan. Our podcast, recorded live in the creative courtyard.
